General


1) HOW FAR IS THE DROP IN FROM THE BEACH?

The resort is located on the outskirts of Lourinhã, only around 3 km from the nearest beach. You can reach it quickly by bike or comfortably on foot if you feel like it.


2) WHAT MUST I NOT FORGET ON MY TRIP?

Please remember to be sure to pack the following items:
* A valid passport/ID card
* An EU health card or foreign health certificate (inform yourself about validity)
* A small first-aid kit
* Sunscreen
* Warm clothes for the evening


3) ARE THERE BARS, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING FACILITIES IN THE AREA?

The resort is located on the outskirts of Lourinhã, just a few minutes walk from the center, where you will find cozy restaurants, stores and supermarkets. From the Beachhouse and the Beachlodge you can reach the beach promenade of “Praia da Areia Branca” with bars and restaurants in a few minutes walk, where you can enjoy the nightlife in the evening. Shopping facilities are also nearby (about 5 minutes by car). Our local teamer will of course drive with you to the supermarket if you need anything.


4) WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AGE AT CAMP?

Our guests are predominantly between 20 and 40 years old, with the average age being in the mid to late 20s.


5) WHAT LANGUAGE IS SPOKEN AT THE CAMP AND IN THE SKATE COURSES?

Our guests come mainly from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Our team is international. Courses & communication are mostly in English & German. Please let us know when booking if you would like a German-speaking coach.


6) IS THE CAMP ALSO SUITABLE FOR SINGLE TRAVELERS?

Absolutely. Many of our guests come to us alone and immediately find a connection. We cook together in the evening, skate together during the day and spend the rest of the time together. It is not uncommon for us to develop friendships that last even after the vacation is over.


7) IS IT WORTH HAVING A RENTAL CAR?

A rental car is usually not required unless you want to explore the area and go on excursions after the course. Otherwise, our local teamer will take care of your well-being and take you shopping, to the beach, etc.. In addition, bicycles are available in each house, which you can use free of charge.


8) CAN I BRING MY DOG/PET WITH ME?

No, no dogs/pets are allowed.


9) ARE THERE BIKES/SKATEBOARDS TO BORROW?

Yes, we have bikes, skateboards & skate longboards that you can borrow for free.

Arrival


1) IS THE JOURNEY FLEXIBLE?

No. Arrival and departure is only possible on Saturdays, because we have a fixed weekly program and only in this way we can guarantee a smooth process. EXCEPTION: Arrival on Sunday or earlier departure are possible, but the weekly price will not be reduced.


2) WHICH AIRPORT DO I HAVE TO FLY TO?

The nearest airport is in Lisbon, about 70 km south of us.


3) WHICH AIRLINES FLY CHEAP TO LISBON?

Lisbon is served by almost all major European airlines and also some low-cost carriers. Skyscanner is a good search engine for finding cheap flights: www.skyscanner.com


4) DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO/FROM THE AIRPORT?

Yes, for 50,- € per person/route we offer an airport transfer from/to Lisbon (approx. 1h). Please do not forget to let us know your flight details in time. Please note that transfers are always possible only on Saturdays between 9h – 21h.


5) IS AN AIRPORT TRANSFER POSSIBLE DURING THE WEEK?

No, we offer our airport transfer only on Saturday between 9h-21h. Exception: In the winter months between November and March.


6) CAN I BOOK THE AIRPORT TRANSFER LATER?

Yes, you can book the airport transfer at least 7 days before arrival.


7) IS THERE A PUBLIC BUS FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE DROP IN?

Yes. The journey with the “public” is super easy! There are buses for about 9€ from Lisbon directly to Lourinha, but not directly from the airport, but from the bus station ‘Sete Rios’. You can get there either by metro (approx. 3€), cab (approx. 12€) or with the Aero shuttle bus (approx. 5€) from the airport.
We will then pick you up from Lourinhã bus station. If you are on the bus, please give us a quick call or WhatsApp us so we can pick you up! When booking, you will receive further travel information from us with all the exact details.


8) WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK INTO MY ROOM ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL?

Departing guests have vacated the rooms by 10h, so that they are available for the new arrivals freshly cleaned by 14h at the latest. If you arrive earlier and your room is not ready yet, you can of course put your things in storage and swing in the hammock or go to the beach until you move in.

Accommodation


1) CAN I ALSO BOOK SINGLE OR TRIPLE ROOMS?

In principle, it is possible to book a single or triple room on request for an extra charge.


2) CAN I BOOK A 2 PERSON ROOM AS A SINGLE TRAVELER?

Yes, you virtually book a bed in a 2-bed or 4-bed room with us. The other beds are then occupied by other guests. You can indicate when booking if you do not want to be accommodated in a mixed room (men & women).


3) CAN I ALSO BOOK ONLY SINGLE NIGHTS?

Depending on availability, single nights are also possible. However, this is usually only possible in the low season. Availability & price on request.


4) ARE BED LINEN AND TOWELS PROVIDED?

Bed linen is available. Please bring your own towels.


5) DOES EACH ROOM HAVE ITS OWN BATHROOM?

No, there are several communal bathrooms at the resort. There are also outdoor showers on the premises so that you can freshen up at any time after skating or other sporting activities.


6) CAN WE COOK OURSELVES?

Yes, there is a communal kitchen and barbecue for free use. There is also a refrigerator for you to keep your food cool. We usually cook and eat together in the evening. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance.


7) IS THERE INTERNET/W-LAN?

Yes of course! There is a computer with free internet access as well as free W-LAN on the entire premises.


8) WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL NUTRITION?

At breakfast and at the Welcome-BBQ there are of course also vegetarian and vegan alternatives. If you have a vegetarian or vegan diet or food intolerances, it is best to indicate this when booking so that we can prepare accordingly.


9) CAN I DO LAUNDRY IN THE HOUSE?

Yes, there is a washing machine that can be used (5 €/laundry).

Skate courses


1) WHERE DO THE SKATE LESSONS TAKE PLACE?

The skate courses take place directly in our private resort skate park – with miniramp, bowl, rails and curbs. Sessions can also be organized in the nearby skate parks on request.


2) DO THE SKATE LESSONS ALSO TAKE PLACE AT WEEKENDS?

No. Our skate courses run from Monday to Friday. The weekend is free for excursions, your own sessions or relaxing.


3) CAN I ALSO JUST BORROW MATERIAL AND DRIVE INDEPENDENTLY?

Yes, you can use boards and protectors free of charge if you live with us. Advanced skaters can of course also use the skate park on their own.


4) WHICH LANGUAGES ARE SPOKEN IN THE SKATE COURSES?

Our team of coaches is international. Courses are held in English or German – just let us know when booking if you prefer a specific language.


5) CAN YOU SKATE ALL YEAR ROUND?

Yes, thanks to the mild climate on the Atlantic coast, skating is possible all year round. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, there is a modern indoor hall just 20 minutes from the resort.


6) CAN I ALSO TAKE PART AS A BEGINNER?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome here – whether it’s your first pushes or tricks like ollies and kickflips. Our coaches will pick you up at your level and make sure that you feel safe and comfortable.


7) CAN I USE THE MATERIAL OUTSIDE OF COURSE HOURS?

Yes, boards and protectors are available to you at all times during your stay – even outside course times.


8) ARE OTHER SPORTS EQUIPMENT ALSO ALLOWED? INLINER, BMX OR SCOOTER?

Inline skaters are welcome, but scooters and BMXs are not permitted on our premises in order to protect the ramps and the skate park.

Booking / Payment


1) HOW DO I BOOK MY TRIP?

You can easily book your trip on our website. In the online booking form you choose accommodation, travel period, additional services, etc. and enter your data. You will receive a confirmation of receipt and if everything fits, a booking confirmation within 3 days.


2) I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A BOOKING CONFIRMATION, WHAT NOW?

After you have booked online via our website, you will receive a confirmation of receipt directly. If everything fits, you will receive your booking confirmation within 3 days. If you have not received a booking confirmation or email from us 3 days after your booking, check your spam folder. If you don’t find anything there either, please contact us immediately.


3) WHEN IS MY BOOKING BINDING?

You make a binding booking the moment you submit the online booking form on our website.
ATTENTION: Please book flights only after you have received the booking confirmation from us. This should be no later than 3 days after your booking.


4) WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY FOR MY TRIP?

If you book very early and it will be a while before your vacation starts, a deposit of about 25% is due first. The remaining amount is then to be transferred at the latest 4 weeks before arrival. In case of short-term booking, the full amount is to be transferred within 30 days.


5) WILL I BE INFORMED WHEN MY PAYMENT IS RECEIVED?

No, there is no extra notification when we receive your money. We will only contact you if we have not received any money.


6) CAN I PAY WITH CARD?

No, card payment is not possible with us. Please remember to have enough cash with you.


7) DO YOU OFFER INSURANCE?

We offer in cooperation with the HanseMerkur a complete insurance, as well as a travel cancellation insurance incl. Vacation guarantee (trip interruption insurance). In addition, it is possible to take out Corona travel protection as supplementary insurance. You can find all the information here.

1) HOW FAR IS THE DROP IN FROM THE BEACH?

The resort is located on the outskirts of Lourinhã, only around 3 km from the nearest beach. You can reach it quickly with the free bicycles or on foot if you feel like it.


2) WHAT SHOULD WE BRING WITH US FOR OUR STAY?

Please remember:
* A valid passport/ID card.
* An EU health card or foreign health certificate (inform yourself about validity).

* Warm clothing for the evening


3) ARE THERE BARS, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING FACILITIES IN THE AREA?

Yes. The resort is just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Lourinhã, where you will find restaurants, stores and supermarkets. You can also reach the beach promenade of “Praia da Areia Branca” with bars and restaurants for the evening in about 5 minutes by car.


4) HOW OLD ARE THE GUESTS AT THE EXCLUSIVE RENTAL?

The Exclusive Rental is designed for groups – whether skate crews, families, friends or teams. There is no age limit, you decide who you come with.


5) WHICH LANGUAGES ARE SPOKEN?

Our team is international. If you book optional skate or surf lessons, these are usually held in English or German.


6) IS THE EXCLUSIVE RENTAL ALSO SUITABLE FOR SINGLE TRAVELERS?

No, the Exclusive Rental is designed for groups. If you would like to come alone or in a small group, you can only book our Summer Camp between July and October.


7) IS IT WORTH HAVING A RENTAL CAR?

A rental car is highly recommended, as you are self-sufficient and flexible with Exclusive Rental. You can also go on excursions to Lisbon, Nazaré or Óbidos.


8) CAN I BRING MY DOG/PET WITH ME?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed in the resort.


9) ARE THERE BIKES/SKATEBOARDS TO BORROW?

Yes, bicycles, skateboards & longboards are available for you to use free of charge during your stay.

Arrival


1) IS THE JOURNEY FLEXIBLE?

No. With Exclusive Rental, arrival and departure is always on Saturdays, as we can guarantee cleaning, preparation and a smooth process for your group. An earlier arrival or later departure is possible by arrangement, but the weekly price remains the same.


2) WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD WE FLY TO?

The nearest airport is Lisbon (LIS), approx. 60 km south of the resort.


3) WHICH AIRLINES FLY CHEAP TO LISBON?

Lisbon is served by many major European airlines and also by low-cost airlines. It is best to use search engines such as Skyscanner to find the cheapest connections.


4) DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO/FROM THE AIRPORT?

Yes, we offer an airport transfer from/to Lisbon. The price is 100€ per car and route (max. 8 people). Please let us know your flight details in good time.


5) ARE THERE PUBLIC CONNECTIONS TO LOURINHÃ?

Yes. There are regular buses from Lisbon (Sete Rios bus station) to Lourinhã, ticket approx. 9 €. You can reach Sete Rios by metro, cab or shuttle bus from the airport.


6) WHAT TIME CAN WE ARRIVE AT THE RESORT?

The rooms are ready for occupancy from 15h. If you arrive earlier, you can store your things and use the outdoor facilities, the garden or the skate park.

Accommodation


1) ARE THERE SINGLE OR TRIPLE ROOMS?

No, with Exclusive Rental you always book the entire resort with all rooms. You are free to choose between the available double, twin and quadruple rooms.


2) HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT?

The resort offers space for up to 16 people. Ideal for crews, families, clubs or teams.


3) CAN I ALSO BOOK ONLY SINGLE NIGHTS?

No, the resort is only rented by the week (7 nights, Saturday-Saturday).


4) ARE BED LINEN AND TOWELS PROVIDED?

Bed linen is available. Please bring your own towels.


5) DOES EACH ROOM HAVE ITS OWN BATHROOM?

No, there are several shared bathrooms in the house. There are also outdoor showers on the grounds, perfect after a session in the skate park or pool.


6) CAN WE COOK OURSELVES?

Yes, there is a large, fully equipped communal kitchen with barbecue at your disposal. Supermarkets and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. You can optionally book a breakfast package (€50 per person/week).


7) IS THERE INTERNET/W-LAN?

Yes, free W-LAN is available to you on the entire site.


8) WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL NUTRITION?

As you are self-catering at Exclusive Rental, you are free to keep an eye on your diet. There is space in the kitchen for your supplies, and there is also a wide selection of supermarkets nearby.


9) IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO LAUNDRY?

Yes, a washing machine is available at the resort.

Yes, you can use boards and protectors free of charge at any time. Especially with Exclusive Rental, most crews ride independently anyway.


4) WHICH LANGUAGES ARE SPOKEN IN THE SKATE COURSES?

Our coaches are international. Lessons are usually held in English or German – other languages are available on request.


5) CAN YOU SKATE ALL YEAR ROUND?

Yes, the mild climate on the Atlantic coast means you can skate all year round. And if it rains, there is an indoor hall just 20 minutes from the resort.

Booking / Payment


1) HOW DO I BOOK THE RESORT?

Booking is very easy via our website. In the online booking form, you select the period, additional services and enter your details. You will receive a confirmation of receipt and a binding booking confirmation within 3 days.


2) I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A BOOKING CONFIRMATION – WHAT NOW?

Immediately after your request you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The booking confirmation will follow within 3 days. If you do not receive anything, please check your spam folder first and then contact us directly.


3) WHEN IS THE BOOKING BINDING?

By submitting the online booking form you make a binding booking. Please do not book flights until you have received our written booking confirmation.


4) WHEN AND HOW DO WE PAY?

The total amount must be paid in full before arrival.
– For early bookings: 50% deposit immediately after confirmation, balance at least 2 weeks before arrival.
– For bookings made at short notice (less than 4 weeks before departure): The total amount is due immediately.


5) WILL WE BE INFORMED WHEN THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED?

There is no separate confirmation of receipt of payment. We will only contact you if payments are not received on time.


6) CAN WE PAY BY CARD?

No, card payment is not possible. Payments can only be made by bank transfer before arrival.


7) IS THERE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Through our partners (e.g. HanseMerkur) you can book complete cover or travel cancellation insurance including a vacation guarantee. More information here.
