We’re the one and only real skatecamp with cozy accommodation in Portugal/Europe – featuring a private skatepark in the garden, a miniramp, a laid-back resort vibe, and a setup that keeps both solo backpackers and pro crews stoked.
Located on the Silver Coast, just 60 km north of Lisbon, you can reach the Drop In Skatecamp in less than an hour from the airport.
In summer, you can visit our camp by the week as an individual or in small groups: Ideal for solo travellers, buddies or skaters who are simply looking for a good time with like-minded people.
From fall to spring, the resort is transformed into your exclusive skate camp for up to 16 people: Perfect for skate training, private groups, photo shoots or retreats.
What awaits you at Skatecamp Portugal
The Drop In Skate Resort was completely redesigned in 2024 and is now a place with a unique character: from July to October a meeting place for “solo travellers”, and from November to June an exclusive hideaway for groups or crews who want to book the entire resort exclusively for themselves.

The location
- Our concept: At the Drop In Skate Resort, we value personal care and a family atmosphere. With only 16 places, it remains manageable and nobody gets lost. You live together with our team members and skate coaches in a large shared flat-like community – always with a contact person on site.
- The resort: Two houses with a total of 7 rooms, 3 bathrooms and a large communal area with a fully equipped kitchen form the core. The highlight is the spacious garden with pool, private skate park and mini ramp – a real paradise for skaters!
- The rooms: You will sleep in comfortably furnished 2-bed rooms, double rooms or 4-bed rooms. We can accommodate up to 16 guests in total. Whether alone, with friends or as a group – everyone will quickly feel at home.
- The catering: In summer there is a rich breakfast buffet every morning. On Saturdays, we start the week with a joint welcome barbecue, which of course also caters for vegetarians. On the other evenings, we cook and eat together – or you can use the large communal kitchen for your own creations. Self-catering is provided for the rest of the year for exclusive rentals (breakfast can be booked as an option).
- The garden: plenty of space to relax or let off steam! Pool with a view, in-house skate park and mini ramp, table tennis, table football and darts ensure that there’s never a dull moment. Titus skateboards and bicycles are available free of charge. If you prefer to relax, treat yourself to some time in the hammocks or deckchairs on the terrace.

Perfect lines in the resort skatepark, flow on the miniramp or relaxed sessions in the sun – it’s always a good idea to come to Portugal to skate. With its mild climate, little rain and not too hot temperatures, the country on the west coast of Europe offers ideal conditions for skaters of all levels. Whether beginner, advanced or pro – everyone will find a setup and a vibe here that makes the skater’s heart beat faster.

It’s a great place to skate all year round. In summer, you can expect warm days, long evenings and the perfect atmosphere for solo traveller weeks. From fall to spring, the resort becomes an exclusive hideaway – ideal for crews who want to skate, relax and experience the Portuguese coast together in the best conditions.

The Drop In Skate Resort is located on the west coast of Portugal, just 60 km north of Lisbon. With its pool, large garden, private skate park and miniramp, it is the perfect base for skating, relaxing and exploring.

General info about Portugal
The best time to travel & climate
Thanks to the mild climate on the Atlantic coast, you can skate in Portugal all year round. Winters are pleasant and rarely cold, summers are sunny and dry – but never oppressively hot, as the Atlantic wind provides fresh air. Rain is rare overall, so outdoor sessions are almost always possible.
Even in winter, it stays warm enough to ride outside during the day, and the days are longer and sunnier than in Central Europe. Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have an indoor skate hall just 20 minutes from the resort.

The arrival
The best and easiest way to get there is by plane. Lisbon is the closest airport to our Drop In Skatecamp Portugal. Lisbon is served by many airlines at super low fares. Simply check one of the well-known portals such as Skyscanner etc. to find the cheapest flights.
From Lisbon you can easily get to Drop In Surfcamp Portugal by public bus, rental car or our transfer (approx. 1 hour drive).
Portugal is part of the EU, so you only need a valid passport or identity card to enter the country.
